I don't know, I think things are quite well behaved at the moment, there is, sadly, some name calling from a few but it's combined with some decent debate. Ahh the price of freedom, to think they are going to bomb Afghanistan in part to protect that list. Quite a few people from here did join the other list but unfortunately never really participated. (The ones who do were already regulars there). Maybe the mood would have gotten a lot friendlier if those from here had started chatting too. It's such a pity because I quite liked this list (Vegan network) and now all the people who made it what it was seem to have gone silent. Even Vegan_Chat never managed to take off in the same way. Guest guest
If people won't chat then they can't complain if they don't like the topics. I think a lot of people join but can't be bothered to . If you find someone's topic not to your liking you can always ignore it ,and start your own .Soeone will reply ---probably ! - Mavreela vegan-network Wednesday, September 26, 2001 11:21 PM Re: [100% veg*n ] Re: The Other One >Its (). Guest guest
noticed a lot of discussion about wot is " on topic " or " off topic " in groups lately... if you don't like the way a discussion is going, come up with a new topic... i mean, as long as people aren't reduced to name calling and the like, you should be able to discuss things.... some folks just seem to like to complain a lot, rather than fix or heal(damn..sound like a hippie) the *problem* *bounds away* fraggle " Angie Wright " <angiewright wrote: >If people won't chat then they can't complain if they don't like the topics.
