Guest guest
************************************************************************ HLS's motto is " Your Secret is Our Secret " .. But that apparently doesn't apply to the companies associated with HLS. ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS CAUSE MAJOR SECURITY BREACH AT BANK OF NEW YORK AS RESULT OF THEIR CONNECTION TO CONTROVERSIAL ANIMAL TESTING LAB, HLS! (New York) Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty was leaked highly confidential documents, records and account information to some of the Bank of New York's biggest customers. Anonymous animal rights activists were able to leak out this information resulting in a major security breach for the Bank of New York. The documents and records, now posted at www.bankofnykills.com, are internal records detailing the accounts of such big name customers as the Bank of China, Unilever, and several other major companies. This could have disasterous consequences for the BNY as it shows a serious breakdown in customer confidentiality. The records, leaked to Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty from an anonymous source, were made public to tarnish the image of the Bank of New York in protest of their financial support of Huntingdon Life Sciences, the notorious animal testing lab being shut down by animal rights groups internationally... The Bank of New York provides the American Depository Receipts to Huntingdon Life Sciences allowing the British based lab, with a US lab located in East Millstone, New Jersey, to have their shares traded on American stock exchanges. Animal rights campaigners have singled out the Bank of New York as a major financial pillar of support for HLS and have staged several hard-hitting demonstrations against them internationally. The release of the high profile account information at the BNY comes on the heels of several other direct action attacks on the Bank of New York. In the US several banks have had their ATM’s glued up and bank branches have been covered in paint and had their windows smashed. Additionally a US BNY executive recently had his boat severely damaged by activists outside of his home. In the UK activists have locked themselves inside BNY offices and some activists have even staged a roof top occupation of a BNY executive's home. For a complete listing of this account information visit: www.bankofnykills.com Every week there will be a week-long phone/e-mail blockade against one of HLS investors. Some of these investors will be large companies and others will be private investors. We will target a new investor each week. We need EVERYONE to take a few minutes each day and let these investors know that by supporting HLS, they are supporting animal abuse and torture. Show them that WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE! Let's hit them where it hurt-their pockets! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* LADENBURG, THALMANN & CO. INC. Throughout the early 20th century, Ladenburg played an important role in the financing and growth of American industry. The firm focused its efforts on identifying, counseling and raising capital for emerging industries, including railroads, utilities, manufacturers and retailers. THERE IS A PROTEST AT A DIFFERENT BNY LOCATION EVERY WEEK! Check the protest schedule at: www.adl-online.com **Please take the time to put your feelings and outrage into your own words, someone has to read these letters and emails. It would be much more effective if they read a veriety of letters, not just a form letter. SAMPLE LETTER: I am writing to urge you to discontinue your investment with Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS). Animals are sentient, living beings and should not be used for experimentation or anger relief for staff members. Since the publicity, I am certain you are now aware of the horrendous pain and suffering animals at Huntingdon endure. Tests which force the animals to consume toxic doses of various chemicals, inhale noxious fumes, and have caustic chemicals applied to their raw skin is horrendous. What is even more outlandish is documentation showing staff throwing beagle puppies against walls and punching them in the face. This is simply not good business. There are numerous companies discontinuing animal experimentation and instead, using computer simulations and the vast amount of previously accumulated data. You have the power and the ability to do something about the excruciating pain an annual 180,000 animals suffer. First, as an investor, you can demand they change their practices and you can demand the staff have psychological treatment. Second, you can cease your ownership of HLS stock and not invest in any other company practicing archaic and brutal animal research. I also encourage you to look beyond the bottom line when making future investments. Compassionate individuals, like yourself, with the gift of financial resources to invest can create long-term, far-reaching consequences toward a more benevolent world. ********************************************************************** For More Information: http://www.adl-online.com http://www.shacusa.net http://www.stephenskills.com **********************************************************************
