Guest guest
Well, yeah about it being cold, but for the ultra-leanient state that it was you'd expect there to be also ultra-high crime during the summer if long prison sentances/capital punishment was a genuine deterent from crime. Or at least during the summer you would One reson is becasue money not spent on imprisonment is used to fund a damn good police force and people don't want to be caught doing bad stuff whether they face tough punishment or not. There has recently been an increase in people's perception of crime, but that is proberbly more to do with the introductiuon of tabloid press then anyhthing. And 'monsters' should be delt wth now, but not in a way that is retributive. The meanwhile is relatively a very short piece of time, and not trying to do anything to stop the trends now seems madness. Like not fixing a growing hole in a boat becasuse you have a bucket to bail out with. ____________________ > BTW.
