With regards to your point Lesley, I certainly don't think it's strange for vegans to talk about non-vegan things. I've been veggie all my life yet I can honestly say it's rarely been a talking point. It's just something I get on with. I've had a few veggie friends over the years but for some wierd reason, most of my closest friends are meaties. I did not mean to offend anyone (Paula) by saying you are a " strange lot " , but people seem to be a lot more vocal in their opinions here than I ever have. That is a little " strange " to me as I'm not usually overtly opinionated. I do have strong views on many issues, but I usually keep them to myself. Maybe I'm the strange one.
