Guest guest
hippie, underground, alternative actually >adds colour and sells. we/they are being used as marketing ploy. it is >almost expected now... " very organic " . I used to be a bit of a 'hippie' kind of dresser myself. At the time I thought I was being different and I suppose I liked that. But I got fed up with that image because I realised that I was following the same dress sense as countless other 'hippies'. Plus the fact that a lot of people expect vegans to look like hippies. I have actually noticed that a lot of veggies and vegans dress like some 'travelling people'. Why is that? I don't want people to think of me as a strange hippy vegan. I want them to think I am just a normal person who chooses not to cause any suffering to animals. Well, anyway, I have decided to be 'different' once again and dress normally[not sure what is normal, I guess I mean like the majority of people my age] Well, thats when I'm in the city. For now, I'm quite happy wearing practical clothes, like wellies and big acrylic jumpers, [which baby acrylics have suffered for!] Or if it's hot..why wear anything at all!
