Guest guest
Hello all I'm Nigel, I managing to quit smoking on the 7th of this month, I felt real bad the first 3 days and was so spaced out I was on another planet, after 10 days It got a lot better. I also stopped eating dairy food two days after stopping smoking and have been gradually eating more and more raw foods (felt terrible a few times). My skin became bad and I was craving meat, eventually I give into it and eat some lamb chops, mashed potato with butter, salt & pepper and this cured me. I then did a two day water fast (last Sun & Mon) and have bought a juicer, I've been eating a 100% raw food diet since Tue this week and my skin seems a lot better for it. I have been irritable and freeked out though? Is this normal? I've heard of other people going through a bad detox type thing when changing to raw foods and they were non smokers I am getting more used to eating raw now and the meat cravings aren't so bad, I find that the juicer is excellent but I am concerned about pesticides. Should I go 100% organic because I tried some juiced organic carrots and they tasted much different (better) than non- organic carrots. I have thought that the cost of full organic is too much, is it worth the extra? Any of you into just raw food?
