Guest guest
Hi Folks, We are planning a holiday abroad possibly to Egypt next year or the year after that. Since becoming a Vegan I haven't travelled outside the UK so its never been a problem. I'm a bit concerned what I would eat if we went somewhere like Egypt! Has anyone got any advice/suggestions? Thanks, Louise
Guest guest
Arabia's dead easy - chickpeas/hoummous/felafel, tahini, broad beans (foul medames), pitta and lots of other flat breads, baba ganoush eggplant pate to eat with bread like hoummous etc. You'll have a wonderful time... Guest guest
The Vegan Society produce a book you can buy called a Vegan Passport : In just a few short phrases, the booklet describes what foods veg*ns can/can't eat in just about every language you'll need when travelling the globe - and there are even a couple of pages of fail-safe pictures for those rare occasions when words just won't work. http://www.vegansociety.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=231 & osCsid=f817e6fe50c4a10db433db1aa5267eb5 The Valley Vegan..........................steveeills <coneyscave wrote: Hi Folks,We are planning a holiday abroad possibly to Egypt next year or the year after that.Since becoming a Vegan I haven't travelled outside the UK so its never been a problem.
