Guest guest
Hi Have been trying to find out if Sainsbury's mushy peas are suitable for vegans. They are labelled as vegetarian but phoned their customer services and they said that they are vegan but haven't got room on the packaging to put it on and this is true of some of their other products as well. I therefore asked for a list of all their vegan products and was told they no longer produced it due to lack of demand. It would be helpful to me (and maybe others too) if other vegans could demand a more up to date list in the animal free shopper and that they produce their list of vegan foods again, or even better label their foods properly. Guest guest
Yeah I don't get that... how much space does it need to just add ' & vegans' after 'suitable for vegetarians'? Still, I'm so used to checking ingredients lists that I doubt I'd know what to do with a comprehensive list of all their vegan food - I probably wouldn't trust it! I've emailed Sainsbury's before. And apparently Tesco find it really, really hard to add the ' & vegans' bit! But still, the more people who ask about it, the sooner they'll get off their arses and label their foods. Another useful thing is to check whether it says 'contains milk' or 'contains dairy ingredients' or whatever. Yay for milk alleries , " Michelle D'Arcy " <michelledarcy wrote: > > Hi > > Have been trying to find out if Sainsbury's mushy peas are suitable > for vegans...
