I'm working my way through everything D. H. Lawrence has ever written. I love his metaphor of Nature and anti-civilizating regression to our pagan roots (he says we are all like flowers, cut from our roots and put decoratively in a vase). I love his raw and dark eroticism and evil cynicism!
