I've got a friend who's suffering pretty badly at the moment; he tried one herbal remedy from a health food shop, but that was no good (he didn't say what it was). Thanks, Joel. I've been prone to hayfever for over 20 years and the best thing I've found is Ephytem Microspheres " A blend of herbs suitable to take during the summer months " . They aren't cheap at around £10.99 for 60 capsules, but they do work to greatly reduce my symptoms and could be worth trying by your friend.
