ADMIN: About posting and uploading recipes . . .

Hi there ;=)

 

Just a gentle reminder, but could members *please* remember to post all

recipes to the *list* - not just upload them to the Files. I know it seems

obvious

that we should be able to check them out in the Files, but all members don't

work that way with lists. Some receive digests, for example, and download all

messages to their computer and read them at their leisure off line. By the time

they go on line again they may have forgotten all about the wonderful recipes

loaded into Files. If they see a recipe they like in the Messages, though, they

are likely to read it there and then and save it for future use. Okay?

 

Besides, some of us just like to read recipes. If you are worried about having *

two* messages come through, one for the recipe and one to announce it has

been uploaded, just don't click the box for notifying the group of the file if

you

don't want to. We'll all find your recipe when we go looking for it!

 

Okay - there are two or three of you forgetful in this way, so this is not

directed

against any one person in particular, I promise ;=) (Er, get that, Saedric

*lol*?)
