Haiku: 17 or 19 syllables?

Oops, K! The classical Haiku was 17 syllables, in 5, 7, 5 format.

Yours was an example of Haiku Jiawei! (augmented to 19 syllables).

However, verse with between 14 and 20 syllanbles also can qualify as

Haiku .

Thanks! it's been about 20 years since I wrote a Haiku,,

so here goes again

 

a doctor's treatment

who knows you might vibe with one

student and teacher
