Alon,

 

If you go back and read my post on Western herbal tonics you will see that

Western herbalists don't even theorize that tonics add substance. They don't.

Alon,

Maybe western tonic herbs do increase substance just not the substance you

might think. Someone on here has mentioned, sorry I forgot who, the

connection of western herbal tonics to increased digestive functioning. In

one sense, their has to be an increase in various fluids (aka, substance) in

order to fulfill this function. I think that focus, intention and therefore

somantics are all a part of this. This elephant by all be one in the same

and it matters not what you call the beast as long as you get results,

western or Asian.
