Guest guest
Methinks of muscle testing - other than Kinesiology, which as Alon pointed out was designed for musculoskeletal analysis, As springing from the same form as Burnt Pants Decoction (Shao Kun San ) or using the Po (soul )of a hanged man in ancient herbal remedies. May be explained today by some as treating the Psyche or Sprit rather than a focus on the purely physical. IMO, there is always the intention of the patient which plays a crucial role in the process. ...............magic snakeoil.............!!? What is wrong with snake oil? for inflammation and pain in rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, etc. Chinese laborers introduced it to the US for treating the pains from building the railroads, the emerging US Pharmacy Schools (Rockefeller et al,) ridiculed the claim and, it has had the stigma ever since. There is always the intention of the promoter which plays a crucial role in the process. Local culprits often substituted alcohol and who-knows-what to capitalize on the reputation of the Chinese Snake oil. A very similar ploy underway today with Ma Huang (Ephedrine). Methinks it is to the EXCESS'S that the USFDA, Mao, et al, focus on. People are superstitious. These superstitions are used as opium by those who have a hidden agenda. Ed Kasper LAc. Santa Cruz, CA. It seems to me to be a way for practitioners who are not sure of their diagnostic skills to find some sort of verification. Too often I recieve invitations to attend seminars in systems that someone developed and is toting to be the best thing since magic snakeoil...One really has to wonder why people can't just stick to drinking from the deep well of tried and true chinese medicine, which alone can provide a deep satistying experience of healing and wholeness.
