Is this your expereince or statistically verified with large random

groups? I frequently see patients who are ultimately worse after

laminectomy and fusion. However it is my understanding that the

majority are better. I used to have alon's opinion, but I think it was

skewed because I was only seeing those whose surgery had worsened the

complaint and the others went merrily on their way.
