Guest guest
I was told of the opinion of a Chinese trained TCM doc that a patient with ovarian cancer should not be given Astragalus because of its angiogenesis effects which may help the tumor grow. However, Astragalus is listed in herbal texts as a hemostatic and general immune enhancer. Other sources say Astragalus can be used in the context of a deficient patient post chemo (eg, fu zheng therapy). Does anyone have experience with this? -Nicole
