Guest guest
Would appreciate acupuncture and herbal ideas for a patient who has had constant belching for 8 years; it is not necessariy worse after eating. She feels like she has a constant 'bubble' in her esophagus (approx. Ren 21-22 area). She has endometriosis and temple migraines as well; obviously Liver stagnation. (Most of her problems started 10 years ago when her mother died; she was 26 then). She is obese (225 lbs); no palpable left pulse; right pulse deep and thin, very weak deep kidney. Tongue is normal red, slightly swollen, some teeth marks, thin white coat. She also retains dampness in her hands and ankles. My diagnosis was Liver invading stomach causing rebellious St qi with damp-phlegm retention. The acu treatment I did made the belching worse per the patient. I reduced Ren 21 (ashi)and Ren 11; plus ST 37, Spleen 7, ST43, Liv 3 reduced, LI4, Yintang, Liv 14. Would appreciate acu ideas and herbal as well. Thanks much.
