surgery and pain relief

Hi All

Wondering if you can help.

Have a permenant ileostomy due to a perforated bowel thanks to ulcerative

colitis...now have to go for removal of rectum(horrendous cancer risk to leave

it!)

Will have epidural for a few days and have persuaded them to let me do some

acupuncture for top up pain relief alongside other drugs when this comes down.

Will have central abdominal wound and a very sore butt!!!

Any advice on what points would be best to use bearing in mind I will be doing

it myself...can bring my electroacupuncture machine with me.
