Guest guest
Anyone out there use electric blankets on their treatment tables? Have you seen any adverse affects / Qi disruption or do patients get a better treatment? Thanks, K -- www.tcmreview.com
Guest guest
Thanks Karen. Any ones better than others? Lower EMFs or anything like that? Looking for high-quality ones... Guest guest
I use the Sunbeam bed heaters at office and home and they have low EMF. (some do have very high EMF, i.e. >3 milligauss) I can put the EMF meter right on it an pick up less than 1m gauss. If I put a fleece padding on top of the blanket then we are talking at most less than .5 milli gauss. I figure it is a tradeoff as it is my understanding that EMFs are much more harmful long term than short term, plus it isn't on all the time, once it comes to temp it shuts off. Patients definitely appreciate it on cold days. --george On Tue, Nov 17, 2009 at 2:59 PM, <johnkokko wrote: > > > Anyone out there use electric blankets on their treatment tables? > Have you seen any adverse affects / Qi disruption > or do patients get a better treatment? > > Thanks, > K > > -- > > > > www.tcmreview.com > >
