If the " emitting Qi " could be inside the stone needle? Jade is a quartz, you

know that this mineral has electric proprties (piezoelectric, where " piezo "

derives from ancient greek " push (in) " , " press (in) " .) Maybe that this Qi

could be a not well yet known kind of electric energy. What do you think

about?

I am no expert in the matter, but some might argue that the mere act of

using intention when inserting or manipulating a needle is emitting qi.

Besides, I doubt very much that any of us has read all of the classics or

have understood all that was read, these are necessary requirements to

determine that " There is no mention of emitting qi in any of the classics. "

> The concept of Qi was different at the time. This whole emitting idea

arose much later-I would even say it's modern. There is no mention of

emitting qi in any of the classics. I would not go far as to say it

absolutely didn't exist, just that there is zero evidence of its existence.

Hi all.

Qi is a very broad term that is often made way mroe mystical than it is or

needs to be. Emitting energy can be as simple as a ball emitting energy when it

hits the ground. Don't be fooled into thinking the Chinese did not understand

" newton's " law. Chinese martial arts are constantly on about qi emission, and

much of it is what we would term physical.

Of course, qi includes electricity, as has been referenced many times regarding

lightning storms. Qi also has to do with the electrical charge in the air, which

is part of the reason why waterfalls, oceans and mountains have a better qi.

Finally, qi means " influence " and as such does a very good job of standing in

for any dynamic / change.

When you have enough, you can give it, 'emit' it. If you don't have enough, you

can't.
