Guest guest
•Located on the cubital crease of the elbow EXACTLY in a hollow in a depression BETWEEN the lateral/ulnar edge of the brachioradialis muscle and the medial/radial edge of the brachialis muscle; (another way of sying this is that it is located on the radial side of the bicipital aponeuroses approximately 1 cun medial and radial to the biceps brachii muscle/tendon where the lateral cutaneous nerve of the forearm is located and approximately at the same location as a small branch of the brachial artery called the radial recurrent artery.) •More simply described, L-5 is located on the cubital crease of the elbow in a depression approximately 1 cun medial/radial to the biceps brachii tendon. •NOT LOCATED AT the biceps brachii tendon. •NOT LOCATED JUST medial to the biceps brachii tendon. •Palpate TCM medially about 1 cun to the biceps brachii tendon and you will feel the point location of L-5 very clearly. The TCM medial edge of the brachioradialis IS in fact the Lung Channel and the TCM lateral edge of the same muscle IS the Large Intestine Channel.
