Guest guest
Has anyone had any success treating children who have sensory integration disorder, especially the tactile kind? A patien'ts niece has this problem and she was wondering if acupuncture would be something that would be helpful. I've not had any experience or heard of it before. I'm not looking for treatment protocols or herb/point suggestions, just whether or not acupun cture is something that has been known to work. It is clothing that really sets the 5 year old girl off. Touching her with your hands is usually okay. They have tried lots of other therapies including OT, which has helped minimally.
