Some say there is practically NO throw from the reeds and others think they are really terrific. I tend to fall for every " fad " so determined not to jump into these until I here more positive comments. Some say use DPG with the FO or EO some say use something else . . . Hi Helen & All: I was curious about these 'Bamboo Reeds' Actually, they made it on QVC, so, I was somewhat startled to see them. Of course.. I bought one just to see what it is all about .. Actually, I really liked the concept.and the bamboo reeds really do work. They called it 'Lemongrass', however, it was a blend of oils (fragrance I believe) .. I am curious if anyone knows where to get these 'bamboo reeds' ? The whole package was very nicely put together .. Guest guest
From what I have read, there are different reeds . . . some carry the fragrance better than others. I remember reading so much about the " smelly jellies " so I made them and saw NO advantage to them. Had to have your nose right on top of them to smell the fragrance and I used a lof of lavender in it. I worried the reeds would be more of the same . . . a fad without much scent. So . . . I wonder if the type of reed is true. I have seen many sell the reeds and the prices seem to vary. I would like to know what anyone else thinks about these. If they really worked, I would like to try lemon myrtle with them for my office desk. -Helen BTW - my hubby threatens to block QVC!! LOL!! I am an impulse buyer . . .
