Guest guest
Hi again, I hope this isn't too much of a hot spot, but I just wanted to double check if I am understanding right. We can call a finished product (not growing anything here) " organic " if it contains 70% (or more) organic ingredients? I think that is the law in CA and wanted to make sure it is the pickiest one (ie: there isn't a gov't or organization out there that requires a higher percentage of organic ingredients). I know to not use the term " certified organic " unless I can shell out the minimum $500 certification fee. LOL. Someday, but not today. Is there any legal or ethical reason to not label a product with 70% or higher organic ingredients " organic " ? I know it's becoming a bit over-used and abused but not by me at this point anyway. My pregnancy tea is made from 100% certified organic herbs so i had no trouble labeling and marketing that as organic. for some reason i'm hesitating with my personal care stuff that is in the 70% range and up. i think either *I'm* being too picky or just not registering with me to put the word " organic " on the label b/c you don't eat muscle rub!! THANKS! ~B
