Guest guest
I have been a member for quite awhile, but lurk as I'm not as educated as all you wonderful people on the group but I did put in my 2 cents about the poke salad!! lol Got a question. I have problems with the top of my feet even the bones in my feet hurt. At night the tops burn so much that I have trouble sleeping. My chiropractor said it was because of my arches and to wear good fitting walking shoes. My big problem is that the top of feet hurt so bad that the only kind of shoes that doesn't hurt my feet is sandals which are fun to wear in the wintertime. A friend was telling me that she thought there was probably an EO that I could rub on the top on my feet to help. If anyone knows about anything that would help me, I would be eternally grateful!! Thank you so much!! Vicki ---------- Version: 7.1.371 / Virus Database: 267.14.15/223 - Release 1/6/2006

Without knowing all the specifics (that help to respond in an accurate way) I'd suggest some very good supportive shoes like Ecco, Mephisto, etc and if you are carrying any extra pounds- letting some go may give more relief than anything. Anti inflammatory herbs and supplements may be helpful, as well as changes in the diet that will also support good joint health. Diet can really make a difference. As far as local relief with aromatherapy there are many options. I good soak (full bath or foot bath) with a mineral salt combination (dead sea and epsom salts) and an aromatherapy blend that is analgesic and anti inflammatory. You can also make a cool footbath for inflammation (I have a trio of painsynergies that includes one that is anti-inflammatory I find very helpful). I would use St. John's Wort (infused) as a base and add a combination of anti inflammatory and analgesic essential oils. You may also have a fracture, so if you try some of these things and do not have any improvement I would suggest an xray. If you want to share more information/ details privately about total health, weight, diet, age off list- I'd be happy to offer some more specific suggestions. Take care! Sorry for all the typos- etc. I'm typing too fast as i am running out of day again and need to get back to work. I meant the SJW oil in a rub not for the soak/ compress idea. Some helpful oils may be: Chamomile german Lavender angustiflia Marjoram Helichrysum italicum Rosemary cineole There are many others that are helpful in a formula but I'd want to know more before suggesting a specific formula. Curious too about your climate. A very easy blend to make for very fast (absorbed quickly) pain relief is Chamomile german and Peppermint in an aloe vera or light lotion base- absorbs faster than in an oil base or balm. This will also get rid of a toothache applied to the jaw. Excellent that. I like to bring some when I travel to soothe my feet. Ok, enough secrets ;-) If anyone here is building a basic kit- the above oils are all MUST HAVES. You can make many, many helpful formulas from just these. Add Peppermint & Eucalyptus radiata also and you will be very happy ;-) Elizabeth Whole Life Essentials http://www.WholeLifeEssentials.com ASK FOR 5 FREE ESSENTIAL OIL SAMPLES TODAY!
