Guest guest
Ien and all It is a good idea to take l-Lysine and vitamin C prophylatically, a couple of times a week or so, to keep these viruses quiescent. The antiviral properties of Melissa off. are only present in FRESH plant material. Consquently, the tincture of choice must be made with FRESH lemon balm. I took as much as an ounce of homebrewed Melissa off. tincture per day to successfully deal with long standing Epstein-Barr and Cytomegalovirus, both also members of the Herpes family. mjh Sat, 31 Dec 2005 10:40:33 -0800 " Ieneke van Houten " <ienvan Re: Relief for shingles The amino acid lysine is also supposed to be helpful for shingles. Since Melissa is the herb of choice for herpes, I wonder if it, in any form, might not help with shingles also? mjh " The Basil Book " http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/
