Guest guest Posted December 31, 2005 Report Share Posted December 31, 2005 I realize now that I need to get serious about my labels for my herbal relief oil, since someone is teaming up with me and I will be processing a lot of orders in a week or so. I just ran out of the old " run " of them I did months ago, and I haven't used my printer in some time, and no matter how much I tweak it, I have faint " blank " lines in the .jpg on the label. The font is so small, if there are " blank " lines there, they're not noticable, but the ink does look a little faint. I've cleaned the nozzles both by using the warm water /cloth method, the computer method that runs a page of print supposedly to " clean the nozzles " , I've aligned the nozzles via the computer method, and I ran copy after copy, thinking it'd all start to flow better. Still the " blank " lines. Anybody have any suggestions? I'm using an older inkjet Lexmark X75. Has anyone used a printing shop, like Kinkos? Can I save my label jpg to disk and go over there with my blank labels and print them off? Sometimes lint builds up on them, making it difficult for the printer to smoothly inserting the paper. That could cause the skipped printer lines. Maybe this will help. There's nothing about that in the manual. I had it on " normal " all the time, and I guess to save ink, it printed out jpgs sparingly, making the skip lines.
