Laurel,

That sounds like a wonderful idea. I use popcicle sticks cut in 1/2 to sample my

skin balm.

You are like me, I lay awake and think of things I can do.

Most of the time I am remodeling my house or craft-room or something. I am

always

dreaming about it too. Too bad I don't have the money to put my " great " ideas in

motion.

When we redid the kitchen I had it all planned out in my head before the

contractor was even found. haha

My husband just laughed when I showed him my plans that I had made in the middle

of the night when

I couldn't sleep. Maybe should have been a designer of some sort. LOL

I hope you all have a safe and wonderful New Year!

Blessings, Candi

As I drifted off to sleep last night, I thought of this possible

scenario for lip balm samples: I use coffee stirring sticks to stir

my waxes and oils together when I'm making lip balm; I can also to

test the hardness/softness of the blend as I'm working by rubbing the

smooth, rounded end on my lips. The lip balm sets up almost

immediately after being lifted from the hot mixture.

So why not cut the coffee stirring sticks into 2 1/2 " lengths saving

the rounded ends and throwing away the middles. These could be dipped

in 1/2 " of warm balm mixture and then a little piece of wax paper

folded over, I'm sure it would stick. A small basket or bowl of these

would allow people to sample independently.

This is what I do at night instead of counting sheep.

Best to all,

Laurel
