Guest guest
Dear All, When spoken gestures of greetings and well wishes come from a heartfelt place in acknowledgment of one another, our fellow beings on this planet, is there any right or wrong? If the intent is to share our joy, whatever its source, with the hope that others can feel it and benefit from our experience of it, does it really matter what we call it? A shared glance and a smile allow an instant of connection, and we feel better because of it... a gift we share with another... in that moment, it doesn't need to be named. In any exchange... thought, word or deed... we are either coming from a place of Love, or Not Love and we all know the difference. We can feel the difference. We are blessed with free will & free choice, so in each moment we can choose for ourselves, whether what we about to say or do comes from a heart felt place of love or not. Everything in life really is that simple... not necessarily easy to fully embody as we struggle with human emotions, beliefs, and judgments... but purely that simple. I thank you all who are bickering about the " Christmas/Happy Holiday " topic for presenting me with the opportunity to reflect on my own shortcomings and imperfections, as I make the commitment, yet again, to bring as much love as I am able, into all of my thoughts, actions and deeds as I choose Love... For anyway I have caused suffering in myself, knowingly or unknowingly, in my thoughts, words or deeds, because of fear, anger or confusion, I offer forgiveness as much as is possible at this moment. For anyway I have harmed another, knowingly or unknowingly, in thought, word or deed, because of fear, anger or confusion, I offer forgiveness as much as is possible at this moment.
