Guest guest Posted December 28, 2005 Report Share Posted December 28, 2005 I had a perm last Thursday, and on Sunday I developed a red blotchy skin irritation under my left ear and my lymph node at my jaw line/ear is swollen. I'm not sure if the two are related, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what I could apply/take to help with the infection. It doesn't really hurt, except when you press on the gland which is slightly swollen, the skin is a bit warm to the touch and the skin irritation is kinda like hives - although it is much better and not as red today.
