Guest guest
I love the look of Christmas lights, and wish I could leave them up year round. Garish homeownership statement aside, something is very weird this year in my neighborhood in Miami. Practically nobody put lights up this year. Maybe 10% of the homes, maybe less. One other guy on my block put some up, but he didn't have them lit tonight. Other years, I'd say 30-40% of the homes are lit. Even the street that is known for everybody lighting, and having tours was over 50% dark. I was very late getting them up myself, only five days before Hanukkamas and I forced myself to do it. Something is very " flat " this year. Is it the same where you live? I'm thinking the two hurricanes had something to do with it. We all have PTSD here, that's for sure and I'm wondering if the lack of lights is truly a sign of depression. I'd really like to know if people in other parts of the country notice a decrease, or if the lighted homes are on par, numerically, with last year. http://naturalperfumery.com The premier site on the Web to discover the beauty of Natural Perfume Join to study natural perfumery
