Guest guest
Hi Mary, I recently got samples of Suprapein, Biopein and Neopein. I've begun " playing around " with them in my formulas. According to the paperwork that came with the samples, the various (and seemingly extensive) testing done so far on those items looks very promising that an " all natural " , stable and EFFECTIVE preservative for personal care products may have been developed finally But I'm still looking into all the details and am in my own personal experimentation phase as well. I'd love to hear about any info and/or experience that anyone else here has in regards to the " ...pein " preservatives. *Smile* Chris (list mom - still officially " on holiday " as they say across the pond from here <http://www.alittleolfactory.com/> http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of wngsolight Do anyone on this list have information on or personal experience with the preservative Suprapein? Guest guest
The only thing that I didn't like about the Neopein when I played with it is that in my unscented lotion, there was definitely a scent and when I used it in my Herbal blend, it completely morphed it!! I didn't care for it at all. My customers love my herbal blend, but I did not like what it morphed into. I have a batch made up with the Suprapein, but haven't tried it with my herbal blend. Will see if it morphs it as well. But I can say that if you try to use the Neoprein with any type of EO's such as Lavender or any of the lighter eo's it definitely morphs them, so the Neopein would definitely be a hard sell for me at this point. Guest guest
Hi Chris, I have used biopein and found 1) the smell was hard to get over 2) it can result in a very " red " reaction in those with sensitive skin. Would be interested to hear your results. Virginia West Aussie Christine Ziegler wrote: > Hi Mary, > > I recently got samples of Suprapein, Biopein and Neopein.
