Guest guest
CVould anyone tell me why oils are adulterated???? I know it is done because I hear it, and maybe I have bought oils that have been adulterated, but why??? There has to be a reason to do it, and I do not see how they make more money doing it. sharon

I have seen so called " pure rose oil " for sale at $60 or so an ounce.. no WAY is that possible. it may be a fragrance oil, it may have started out as rose oil and had all sorts of goodies added. I remember once getting a sample of 'rose geranium oil' from a supplier. it smelled too good to be true. it was. somewhere along the chain someone had added a sizeable quantity of...I thinkit was phenyl ethyl alcohol... rosey scented... changed the aroma and chemical make up of the eo... and lowered the manufactureres cost...
