Also put your leg up in a 45 degree angle against the wall, to get the swelling down.. hugs, C-M * I save th elarge comfrey leaves for that purpose and dry them. They make a fine large bandage... Guest guest Posted December 9, 2005 Report Share Posted December 9, 2005 Hi Kathleen I did a similar thing a couple of years ago, hadn't broken any bones but they weren't sitting correctly. Swollen foot/ankle and a shooting pain with every step, and after several months of expecting it to get better by itself with me using oils, herbs, homeopathy etc. I eventually went to an osteopath and he ouch manipulated it back into place.
