There is also Arnica infused oil & another homeopathic called Traumeel - it

has Arnica as well as a # of other homeopathics in it - it is wonderful

Arnica oil or the creme & Traumeel crreme can be used topically while the

homeopathic drops or pills are for internal use

You could also have somone - even one of your older children hold your ankle

for 15 -20 minutes - they do not have to squeeze it - just keep a hold on it

for the lenghth of time they can - do need to be still & not jerking around =-

it may start to thron & feel hot -- that really is just energy moving

Okay, last month, Nov 4th to be prezact I took a header in the garage

twisting my ankle... no pain but later that night I noticed the puppy had

swollen like three times it's normal size but no bruising... well, it's over

a month later. Puppy is STILL swollen. A little pain, achey kind of stuff, I

don't even limp, well hardly ever.

Question is, what can I do about this. Quite frankly I'd like it to go

away... any suggestions, short of chopping it off, will be considered.

Woman,

You are falling apart! *lol*

If it is STILL swollen a month later you very well might have a fracture

- even a small one. I remember my mom having fractures in her ankles

when I was a kid, and at that time they basically did nothing for them

except have her get arches in her shoes after they naturally healed, but

if you have insurance, might be worth a trip to the quack to get a

diagnosis, and THEN we can work on alternative methods of taking care of

whatever it is!

*Smile*

Chris (list mom - who hopes THIS message actually makes it - at least 2

of my messages have gotten stuck in cyber space - and Mercury retrograde

is over - I know, lingering trails of it remain - like nausea after a

rollercoaster ;-p )

This is very eerie, as I have done the same thing, on the same day, however, it

was in the house and I didn't fall. Mine too, is still swollen, but I am

limping most of the time. I would love some helpful advice also.

....Kathleen, do you think you might want to get a good old fashioned

medical exam/ x ray?

Just a thought ;-)

And whether you do or you don't.....

You could certainly make a trauma oil- with infused Arnica and St.

John's Wort.

Rosemary, Peppermint, Lavender

Helichrysum is also very helpful for sprains obviously- nice with the

St. John's Wort infused oil.

Other considerations (oh so many possibilities):

Chamomile, german

Marjoram

Cypress

Helichrysum and SJW- cause you sound like you mean it ;-)

Oh yeah and stay off it.

Ah GEE Elizabeth,

" Kathleen, do you think you might want to get a good old fashioned

medical exam/ x ray? Just a thought ;-) "

You mean actually break down and go to the hospital for ME instead of the

kids and husband. Certainly a novel idea... rather startling one actually...

Hmmm. Me. Volutarily walk into a hospital without something being vitally

wrong... Well, it's a THOUGHT! ROFLMAO!

Yes, I've considered it and as the aching seems to be more pronounced

lately, I may actually have to do that. >sigh<

Thanks for the suggestions... I have arnica oil, it's like 5 years old, but

as long as it doesn't stink... can't hurt. ;-)

Just a note:

My daughter still has a hard lump in her ankle from an injury years ago

playing baseball when a girl stomped on her ankle coming into base.

She originally had it x-rayed,they said it was not anything to do for it.

Years later she is still bothered by it.

Make this my ad for the week, it happens

to be Thursday!

I was demonstrating Recovazon Gel at the

farmer's market when someone limped up

to my table with a severely painful ankle.

She told me she had sprained it a few days

ago. Or maybe it was longer ago, I don't

remember.

Anyway, we put some Recovazon Gel on

it, and a few minutes later she was telling

the whole market that I had " cured " her!

Most satisfying. I never saw her again, and

she did not have the good sense to buy a

tube, so I have no idea what happened

next.

If you'd like to know more, email me off list,

and I will send some more Recovazon info.

It is great stuff for anything muscular.

Handy for insect stings too.

The gel came about because so many people

were applying liquid Recovazon topically, and

that was messy.
