Hiya Butch aka Poppa.....I have a question about helichrysum also. My

daughter is 8 1/2 months pregnant and has some stretch marks. I have some heli

and I

was wondering how do I mix it with say shea butter or should it be mixed with

something else. If it can be mixed with shea butter, could you please tell me

exactly how much of each I should use like so many drops of heli and how much

butter? Should my daughter use it now or after she has the baby? Thanks in

advance...

Also, let me add my best wishes for a " healthy " babe.

I make a 20 oz batch of face cream and use 1/4 SCANT tsp of heli and carrot seed

oil and a tiny bit of rose otto that I gaurd with my life. . . LOVE the stuff!!

I have customers that swear it reduces small facial lines and fades small scars.

Heilchrysum is a favorite of mine.

Cocoa butter is supposed to be really good for stretch marks, but be

careful... overuse will cause sensitivity! My SIL is a good example of

this. She used it so much that she became allergic to cocoa butter... I

wish she would have asked me, I would have made her some stuff!

Above all else you do in a day, make at least one person smile.

Good show.

Cut it by half .. to 5% dilution or so.

You gotta be real careful there .. working close to the eyes is real

danged tricky. And .. I doubt if it will do much for wrinkles .. scars

are a different matter but wrinkles are almost permanent folds in the

skin. Hydration with one of the commercial preparations will help

eyelids (on a temporary basis) .. it helps the smile lines under my

eyes and on my forehead. ;-)

You are all totally tempting me to mess

around with making a facial cream!

I still have quite a bit of a nice carrier

oil blend, plenty of lavender,my fave scent,

a bottle of glycerine that I bought ages

ago, the helichrysum, and Sangre de Drago.

The latter is thick drops that really tighten

and regenerate the skin.

I'd like to find a way to mix it in somehow.

The company I work with came out with

this exquisitely yummy skin care line,

but I just cannot see putting $100 or more

per month on my face. I have never had

a hundred dollars a month kinda face.

How hard is it?
