Guest guest
Hi Juliet and all! I also have Fibro and it is a pain (everywhere). I heard at first that it had 11-18 trigger points also, and that is what it takes to diagnose you having it, well I have points everywhere so that blows that completely out. The biggest problem is I don't sleep, and that seems to be very common and I just can't seem to get done what I need to do everyday. I used to be a run run run person but now I can only do things every other day it seems. I try not to tax myself too much. Or I am sorry for sure. My brain works nonstop but the old Body won't!! LOL It has been really hard on my soap business. I also was told to loose weight and exercise everyday and I agree it has helped me so much. I am also on a pretty strict diet (not for weight but for the fibro itself) NO Wheat, dairy, nightshade veggies, etc. Also, my saving grace is my Jacuzzi, I just love it and I get in it at least once a day. I love MSN creams and they help a great deal. With my Fibro it seems to attack one place at a time really bad along with the regular pain. This year it is my arms and mostly the elbows. It hurts to pick up anything and the dr. told me 5 lbs was the limit. Crazy!!! Typing doesn't help either HAHA Last year at this time I couldn't walk cause it was in my leg muscles and knee. I am thankful the really bad pain goes to one place at a time.!! I take a ton of meds but can control it now. I am also thankful I live in Arizona because the cold kills me. This sounds really bad but it isn't really, we all seem to have something in our lives that isn't quite jolly but we live with it and go on. I went through many years that all I did was stay in bed and I just made up my mind it wouldn't really help anyway so now I keep on truckin (as they say) I hope you all can do it too! No gray hair for me....mine is VERY gray but the little bottle helps with that!! I may be 52 I just don't choose to look it LOL Also I had all the fillings in my mouth removed and that seems to help the most of anything I had tried at the time, very expensive but soooooo worth it. Anyone with Fibro Needs to get the fillings replaced with porcelain filling or caps as soon as they can!! Lot's of factors to consider (including the source, triggers, and history) and very individual. What is helpful for one person may not be at all helpful for another. Age is also a factor. I would hate to generalize about asthma.
