Guest guest
Im Lindsay, and I live with my husband in wnc. I was wondering if anyone could tell me an herb to take for a medical problem. I have IBS and stay bloated all the time, please do not suggest I drink teas..they make me sick..I mean really really sick. Is there any herb I can take in pill form? Lindsay, sorry for the late reply. IBS is a complex condition, and you can't just take one magic pill that will make it all go away. Does any infusion in hot water, aka tea, make you sick, or was it a particular herb, like peppermint? Usually peppermint is good for IBS but one never knows. What is your diet like? What happens if you avoid milk and wheat, 2 common foods that many IBS patient have to avoid? What happens when you are under stress? Have you had anti-biotics lately? Do you use pro-biotics? If there any magic pills, you might consider herbs like Slippery Elm and Una de Gato. Ien in the Kootenays **************************** " To treat life as less than a miracle is to give up on it.
