Guest guest
Someone already posted a link to a version of the chart. I have fibro and my pain management doc says that most people w/ it actually have around 40 - 45 active trigger points. . . . Yikes!! The 18 points indicated on the chart are the " official " ones used for diagnosis. You may have more. And they may change from day to day, or even from hour to hour. <sigh> HTH Roxanne , " Alex Windancer " <windancr@p...> wrote: > > I believe that some one here said that she had Fibro. > I am in need of the chart that shows tender points used to diagnose Fibro. > I have looked all over the net, and cannot find it, and of course cannot > find it in my files either. > > Does anyone know where I can find a printable version of this much needed > info?? > > Blessings > > Selene > She Who Watches and Waits > windancr@p... >
Guest guest
I have fibro too, but have FINALLY gotten some relief. Don't know if it's the new meds, or the exercise or both, but sure glad something is working. I got a huge lecture (heartfelt and compassionate) from a Dr. who said you MUST exercise every day for the rest of your life. It is the only thing that will really help give some relief. Don't wanna be stuck on pain meds forever! So, I forced myself to go to Curves. Didn't think it was going to work at first, but I kept makin myself go....no matter how painful it was. It has been almost 2 months now and I go 3 times a week. I can't believe the difference. Just thought I would throw my testimony out there for all those Fibro sufferers! I know it's horrible to think of exercise (or even moving) but for me, it has sure been worth it. Hope these positive results last!
