Tam, Please elaborate more on how you mix and use this combination. Do you apply to scalp? Massage it in? Leave it on? Wash it out? Also, do you mean EO's for the rosemary, clary sage and eucalyptus? Thanks. Mitsy
Guest guest
Hi Mitsy, I use the same technique to make a body butter to make this. I microwave the shea butter (unrefined) in 1 minute increments until you've got just a little unmelted shea in the center. Then I stir to melt the rest of it, and then add the almond oil. The percentage of shea/almond you want to use is up to you. I think I used a 60/40 mix. If you'd like a " lighter " cream, increase the percentage of almond oil. Incorporate some air into it by whipping; that will make it lighter also. I used 1.5% rosemary, 1% clary sage, and .05% eucalyptus. I massage a small amount into my scalp and leave it in. It absorbs into your scalp really well.
