Guest guest
Well, I know I have been a space cadet lately. Not around much at all. I posted over at the dish about my new move, and realized I didn't tell you all over here except for a few folks I catch on IM. We are MOVING our operations into a bigger warehouse space!! Woohoo. OMG, no more tea avalanches on my head, no more frozen toes in the winter, no more screaming kids banging on the door while I am on conference calls. Something else that I haven't really mentioned because everything has been in the works, is that I have taken on a business partner. We both have a huge passion for teas and she knows them inside out. She brings a lot of business to our growing table. It has been exciting working out the details for everything. she's totally laid back and funny as hell, we are always laughing which is good. But we are also, able to communicate on a very deep level too. I am SO freaking behind on everything AND have to pack, draw the plans for production areas. I am a bit stressed that we are not going to have enough space even though it is triple what I have now. BUT we can grow it into adjoining spaces, so that rocks. New building, nice an clean. Of course they are putting in a little deli mini mart right around the corner of the building that is trying to get opened before the holidays! I can't wait to meet them and ply them with tea. he eh Anyways, that is what has been going on, plus the puppies and the stuff with my son and life in general. Just haven't been around much anywhere. Working 7 days a week averaging about 13 hours a day (on a short one) Gotta start moving this week. THANK gods we are not open to the public so there are no deadlines, and we can move at our own pace if need be. Once the essentials are in, then we can move the stuff that needs to be around but that we don't use much. It is thrilling and again a bit nerve wracking. I know it is the best move we can make in order to grow even more. What a great accomplishment, Mazel Tov. It is very exciting for you, and great to read (for me) that someone is having such success. Oh, and those long hours -- par for the course! At least it looks like you're having fun and keeping your sense of humor, which is very important. Much more success in the future. http://naturalperfumery.com The Web's Premier site for information on Natural Perfume for a great discussion group
