Guest guest
Hi Y'all, I was wondering if it is safe to spray aromatherapy room sprays onto my furnace filter? I have gas, forced air heat. I was hoping to utilize my heater as the ultimate diffuser ;)Thanks! Warm regards and continue to be, Lori

The scent would be lingering for a bit, but basically, poof. I think a little diffuser or nebulizer would work for the rooms you're in, and be physiologically effective in the long run, too. Oh, and more economical, too. http://naturalperfumery.com The Web's Premier site for information on Natural Perfume for a great discussion group
Guest guest
Hi Lori: If you get anything even damp in your heater ducting, it will cause a build up you will have to hire someone to come and remove. VERY expensive. Don't do it and be safe. What crosses the filter with go into the system if it's some damp or wet in any way . The filters are designed to keep as much dust out as possible and that isn't fool proof either, LOL Jenn - " Lori " <tootstl Monday, November 28, 2005 5:27 PM Aromatherapy Spray-Safe usage > Hi Y'all, > > I was wondering if it is safe to spray aromatherapy room sprays onto my > furnace filter? Guest guest
Hi Lori, Jenn makes some good points about putting the spray on the actual filter. What I've done is drop a few oils onto a tissue and then stick it in my air vent, or I place it on the outside part of my filter in the return. That way you're not messing with the filter and you're still using your ventilation system as a " diffuser " *Smile* Chris (list mom) The New Web Site Will Be Unveiled This Week <http://www.alittleolfactory.com> http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of jenn Hi Lori: If you get anything even damp in your heater ducting, it will cause a build up you will have to hire someone to come and remove.
