I hope you and yours have a gud'un. Now we begin plans for the next three major holidays. Christmas is not celebrated in Turkey except by the small number of Christian Turks but New Year is a big blow out. Me and mine will celebrate both the Western Christmas on 25 December (based on the old Julian Calendar) and Russian Christmas on 7 January (based on the Gregorian Calendar).
