Guest guest
I'm going to have to take back my offer of lemons, seems they ALL have some kind of mildew problem. They were fine a week ago and today they all have this black ashy looking covering... even the green ones and it seems the leaves have it Can anyone tell me what's wrong and what I can do about it... Guest guest
Oh! Thank you Thank you Thank you! I have a deep feeling that the only thing I'm going to be able to do is 1) (if I'm very lucky) cut everything back to nothing or 2) cut it down and burn my poor baby... Guest guest
NONONONONONO!!! It might be as simple as spraying with diluted soap water. Take heart - there is always a workable solution. Guest guest
Neysa (I think she posted it) was right - soap spray or soap/garlic spray. It is called sooty mold and won't hurt if it is not left on too long. You can spray most of it off with a garden hose. It is caused by ants and aphids.
