Thanks, list Mom, for the chance to strut our stuff!

This is the season of Bear Woman.

My Inner Bear Woman is a strong presence.

When the days get shorter and colder

she can think of only one thing:

We must fatten up in order to survive the

bitter winter in the cave!

You know how it goes. Breakfast is hardly over,

and already Bear Woman whispers in my mind:

" It must be almost snack time. What can we have

next? "

For years I lost about 5 pounds every summer

and gained about 8 every fall. Not so much

at Christmas, but during the early dark season.

" Gimme carbs! " hollered Bear Woman.

I was craving starchy foods all day long.

I am happy to say that Bear Woman and I

have finally come to a mutual arrangement.

I eat whole wild foods in supplement form.

Mega nutrition, very few calories.

Bear Woman feels so well-nourished that

she has stopped whining. Phew!

I am still not exactly slim.

But at least I can go through the day without

constantly thinking about the next snack.

I am 62 and feel great.

I don't get colds or flu, have energy pretty much

all the time, all body parts function without whining,

aching or creaking, and I generally know where the

car keys are.

Do your inner Bear Woman a huge favour.

Try a Health Pak.
