Guest guest
Hey Theresa .. other good folks .. >>Publishing a book is good enough reason to take a position .. and >>finding folks lying about sources of Rosewood oil is not difficult to do >>as there is a lot of scuttlebutt out and about regarding new, >>sustainable crops being raised there .. which I am told by Brazilians >>who are supposedly in the know .. are not yet ready for harvest. And >>also, these sustainable crops/plantations were established as much to >>satisfy the western world as they were to ensure a steady supply of >>Rosewood. > > Butch > I was wondering what branch of the service you served in. The scuttlebutt > made me question that. I was a Marine btw. Good show .. Marines is gud folks fer'shur and I salute you! :-) I served in the U.S. Army .. 10 years enlisted and 20 years commissioned. Paratrooper .. Special Ops .. Military Police and such .. among other things. And .. I miss that life .. miss the camaraderie and the mission oriented mentality. I realize that scuttlebutt is a USN & USMC term .. but folks in uniform like to share terms that have universal meaning to the military .. like scuttlebutt, crap house lawyer, desk bound commando or Saigon warrior, humma-humma and such. ;-) Might be of interest to you .. I have received a most detailed narrative report on Iraq operations. It is UNCLAS but technical to a point of brushing against CLASS material. It reports on the up-down sides of our weapons, capabilities, tactics, equipment, morale, etc., and that of the opposition. A lot of very interesting information .. well worth a read by those who are interested in such matters. Its from a retired buddy whose USMC son has completed his second tour in Iraq and is looking forward to a third. I'll be happy to send this to anyone who is interested. I know that on this list we have a number of retired military folks and folks with loved ones serving now. I'll be happy to send this report to anyone who is interested in such information. Write me off line and I'll send you the report. > Theresa Y'all keep smiling. Butch http://www.AV-AT.com PS: You'll not see ANY of the information contained in this report in the media. Unfortunately! I sent the post to a Greek friend who works for the National News Agency there .. she said that most of the info in the report was not news to her .. she sees it daily .. but it would be news to the average person on the street as the Greek news agencies (like the American news agencies) don't report it .. its not hot news to report that things are going well. Understand y'all that the Greek news agencies (and the gummit) are not pro-American. She wrote: > Thanx for sending this to me. Most of the info (xept for the weapons) > I already knew. I keep a close eye on this war and I read everything > about it as it comes across. > You should read the bullshit the Greek newspapers write, or hear the > bullshit everyone here -- who knows nothing -- says. > Nevertheless, I hope it will soon be over and done, with the good guys > completing the job they went all the way there to do. > My heart still breaks everytime a kid falls prey to those drugged-up > maniacs. It's so sad.
