Guest guest
Just wondering on more natural suggestions on nutrition, supplements, oils, nutrient rich foods to help along my journey here? One thing I have been having a problem with is dry, red, patches on my face, and body. Only thing I am taking right now is Nature's Life, source of life prenatals. I would like to get into some fish oil, not sure if I would be able to take the liquid though. Does anyone know if Carlson's have swallow caplets? I would have no clue how much is safe to take during pregnancy. I do not eat a lot of fish though. I think I could start though. Oh, and Christene I have been eyeing the belly balm, sounds wonderful! Very nice that you include pregnancy, and baby products on your site. Renee:Busy and tired mama to three: 11 yrs.,3 yrs., 20 months and EDD: " A girl! Guest guest
well, since it's ad day anyway, check out my pregnancy articles and products (and thanks Christine for putting up with the impromptu " ad " ): I think Snowboard Mommy's Bodacious Belly Butter may help with the patches. It is a very gentle balm for pregnancy ... it was designed to minimize stretch marks but we also use it for everything from diaper rash to getting tar off hands these days. Try it on a non-affected part of your body first, then on one of your patches on your body, and then try it on your face in a similar two-part trial fashion (it's not really designed for faces and will be rather heavy). I suppose I should add to take the list of ingredients and ask your doctor first, too. http://snowboardmommy.com/commerce/index.php?cPath=36 also ask Christine if hers can be used for same thing ... I am not sure how she makes hers depending on what's causing the red patches we should probably compare ingredients. I don't know about the fish oil stuff, but I encourage you to read all about herbal infusions for pregnancy which are indispensable for overall health during pregnancy: general info and how to do it yourself: http://www.snowboardmommy.com/content/pregnancy/pregnancy-tea-infusion.php " how to " buy mine: http://snowboardmommy.com/commerce/index.php?cPath=30 HTH & Best wishes for your pregnancy!!! ~Bonnie aka " Snowboard Mommy " - <Brownay2 Thursday, November 10, 2005 10:24 AM Any suggestions for overall health during pregnancy?
