Hi Chris,

You know me--I have vanilla extract always in progress, I'm trying

vanilla sugar with the Tahitians, and I'm plotting a batch of Kahlua.

Hi Serra,

So I take it you like them? :)

Same here - I just put the beans in a jar with some alcohol (I use

Everclear for all my herbal tinctures these days) and leave them forever

- shaking occasionally. Good stuff :) Plus, you don't see Tahitian

Vanilla Extract, so its great to be able to make it!

Mmm, I always have a jar of vanilla sugar around!

I'm actually trying the same vanilla sugar method with some of my powder

materials, for vanilla scented powders!

For my birthday Nikie gave me a bottle of Kahlua to infuse with the

vanilla. I bet its really good about now! :-D

I need to empty another cool jar so I can start the Tahitian Extract

(I use Amaretto DiSaronno bottles, but I seldom drink so it takes

awhile to empty one).

Oooh, nifty idea--nice and naturally-scented!

That also sounds excellent. I haven't set the recipe up to steep yet,

but once I do and I get permission to share the recipe that I got from

a friend I'll do so.
