Guest guest
> Hi Chris, Hi Serra, So I take it you like them? > You know me--I have vanilla extract always in progress, Same here - I just put the beans in a jar with some alcohol (I use Everclear for all my herbal tinctures these days) and leave them forever - shaking occasionally. Good stuff Plus, you don't see Tahitian Vanilla Extract, so its great to be able to make it! I'm trying > vanilla sugar with the Tahitians, Mmm, I always have a jar of vanilla sugar around! I'm actually trying the same vanilla sugar method with some of my powder materials, for vanilla scented powders! > and I'm plotting a batch of Kahlua. For my birthday Nikie gave me a bottle of Kahlua to infuse with the vanilla. I bet its really good about now! :-D > Serra *Smile* Chris (list mom) There are some vanilla beans left!
