Okay, husband forgot, kids forgot, my own mother (who share's my birthday)

almost forgot, so my present's going to be late, so...

Someone wanna say Happy birthday? Otherwise I'm going to have me a BIG Pity

Party.

Actually, I'm taking me, myself and I out to dinner tonight, the rest of

the rabble can stay home and eat leftovers! ROFL!

Aw Shucks, Kathleen,

Don't you fret. Just go to this site and you can make as many birthday

wishes as your little heart desires and print them out. Just add one of our

names to each of them and pretend that we remembered!!

As a daughter I think that is so COOL! My mother's never been best pleased.

She told me once that I didn't know what it was like to have a birthday all

to myself and then have to SHARE... Nope, I've always shared! LOL! Mom's a

typical Scorp, doesn't like to share the spotlight! ROFLMAO!

As for the husband, I did the dirty on him. About half an hour after he

came home I went running into the kitchen with a happy face and said " Whad

you get me for my birthday? Huh? Huh? where's my present " ROFLMAO! You have

to feel a LITTLE sorry for him. He DID look guilty! LOL! Then said two

things. 1.) It's a surprise! and 2) You didn't warn me! ROFLMAO!

You would think after 13/14 years he would have learned! LOL!

And I don't blame the kids, the eldest is 11, so it's not really their job

to remember.

Thanks Selene.

I'm actually feeling quite cheerful about the whole thing right now...

after a near brush with " things could be worse " , what's a forgotten

birthday! Plus there is that present I found for the little boy. yep, I'm

happy.

Thanks Chris!

I DID babble on about it! I really did. I've even got the kitten here as my

PRE-birthday present. Went on and on about getting my mothers present out on

time because her birthday was fast approaching... fell on wooden ears! They

hear what they want to hear... but never mind... He'll pay... he always does

in one way or another! ROFLMAO!

Well he isnt the most observant man in the world so I have to do for

me!! His mother and I share a birthday which in all the years I have

known him he only remembered ONCE (but that was because his sister lived

with us and she remembered)! BUT I gotta say, he has never raised a hand

to me and has always put food on the table (even if I have to get it and

prepare it). Butches idea of marriage is right on. You know, romance is

nice but it doesnt pay the bills. Like I told Tilmon back when we were

first together (and after two husbands who were real d***s who could say

" I love you " as they were abusing me....) It doesnt matter if you TELL

me you love me, but it is important to SHOW me.... and he does in his

own ways. I can live with that.

Hugs

How can they all forget your birthday? Crapheads! Send them to live in

forgotten birthdays for 1000 years to get this karma..

Hope you had a great birthday!! Your special day to celebrate YOU!!

My favorite " forget " story is my MOTHER-- she ALWAYS remembers my

birthday (I'm the oldest of three), and we go out for lunch together.

But one year (about 15 years ago now!! :) she made the comment

that " she was too young to have a 30--(whatever-year-old-it-was-then)

daughter " . And I had to tell her the math was off by two years!

(Gotta be that " new math " -- that's it!! :)

ROFLMAO! I can understand that! The more kids one has, the more numbers one

has to juggle, the more chances for totally blowing it! LOL!
